Wake Up, You Are A Slave

You were born into a system that enslaved you from the moment you entered this world. 1 All your life you’ve known subconsciously, if not consciously, that there was something seriously wrong with the world you live in. Even though you were brainwashed from very early childhood to ignore it, you’ve felt deep inside you that your right to life was constantly being attacked by the very system that was supposedly put in place to serve your best interests.

You’ve been trained from very early childhood — while your mind was still innocent and defenseless — to remain ignorant and docile by the “education” system. You’ve been trained not to independently think for yourself, not to question what you’re taught, to be subservient and to blindly be obedient to authority and follow the commands that you’re given. Like the famous comedian George Carlin said, those who are responsible for this “don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. That’s against their interests.” What they want are “obedient workers — people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork but just dumb enough to passively accept” their enslavement.

The time has come to wake up and understand how you’ve been enslaved by this system. You owe it not only to yourself, but more importantly to future generations — your family, your children and grandchildren — to confront the truth, and leave behind a better world and a better future for them.

A man is no less a slave because he is allowed to choose a new master once in a term of years.

A System For Your Enslavement

The social system that you live in (Statism) wasn’t designed with your best interests in mind; it was specifically designed so that a small elite could very easily control, manipulate and enslave large groups of people. It can rightfully be called an anti-social system because it attacks and weakens every individual in society starting at the most fundamental level. It was designed to replace abject slavery, giving people the illusion of freedom while in reality they just went from one form of slavery — one where you know you are a slave — into another — one where you think you’re free but really aren’t. You see, when you think you’re free, there’s no reason for rebellion. Like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “none are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.”

The State […] is an anti-social institution, administered in the only way an anti-social institution can be administered, and by the kind of person who, in the nature of things, is best adapted to such service [a psychopath]. Taking the State wherever found, striking into its history at any point, one sees no way to differentiate the activities of its founders, administrators and beneficiaries from those of a professional-criminal class. As Dr. Sigmund Freud has observed, it can not even be said that the State has ever shown any disposition to suppress crime, but only to safeguard its own monopoly of crime.

To enslave the population, it was necessary for this anti-social system to be fundamentally designed around inequality.

Politics: Centralized Power Corrupts Absolutely

The political system is designed around inequality; here you have the notion of “authority” — the idea that certain people stand above others, and supposedly have the right to rule over others and forcibly dictate to them how to live their lives. They’re often referred to as “public servants” but this is just a term to fool you — it’s doublethink, as described by George Orwell in his book “Nineteen Eighty-Four.” In reality they are not your servants but your masters. Just think about it; are people who rule over you and can forcibly dictate to you how to live your life serving you, or are they serving themselves?

If “government” works for us, if it is our employee, why does it decide how much we pay it? Why does our “employee” decide what it will do for us? Why does our “employee” tell us how to live our lives? Why does our “employee” demand our obedience for whatever arbitrary commands it issues, sending armed enforcers after us if we disobey? It is impossible for “government” to ever be the servant, because of what “government” is, to put it in simple, personal terms, if someone can boss you around and take your money, he is not your servant; and if he cannot do those things, he is not “government.” Once a set of rulers are “in charge,” what the masses had intended for them to do with their power does not matter. This fact has been demonstrated by every “government” in history. Once the people create a master, the people, by definition, are no longer in charge.

You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that nothing good can come out of concentrating power in the hands of a small group of people. As the saying goes, “power corrupts and centralized power corrupts absolutely.”

What is it that has destroyed liberty and the rights of man in every government which has ever existed under the sun? The generalizing and concentrating all cares and powers into one body, no matter whether of the autocrats of Russia or France, or of the aristocrats of a Venetian senate.

You’re told that you live in a “democracy” and that you can have a say and change the course of things if you want to through your representatives. However, representative democracy is not democracy. The truth is that your representatives are bought and controlled, and you only have a say in trivial matters that don’t threaten the power of those who are in control. What you effectively have is a dictatorship where you are given the illusion of choice via the political parties, and the illusion of participation via a parliamentary system.

Political struggle that results in the victory of a candidate with, for example, 51 per cent of the votes leads to a dictatorial governing body in the guise of a false democracy, since 49 per cent of the electorate is ruled by an instrument of government they did not vote for, but which has been imposed upon them. This is the reality of the political systems prevailing in the world today. They are dictatorial systems and it is evident that they falsify genuine democracy.

Parliament is a misrepresentation of the people, and parliamentary systems are a false solution to the problem of democracy. The mere existence of a parliament means the absence of the people. True democracy exists only through the direct participation of the people, and not through the activity of their representatives. Parliaments have been a legal barrier between the people and the exercise of authority, excluding the masses from meaningful politics and monopolizing sovereignty in their place. People are left with only a façade of democracy, manifested in long queues to cast their election ballots.

Many people still believe that it’s not the system that is at fault, but that it’s the corrupt people who are in charge of the system that are the problem. These people believe that putting the right people — those with good intentions and integrity — in positions of power will fix all the problems. However, they fail to realize that it’s the hostile nature of the system that produces corrupt people to begin with. 2 The system is fundamentally hostile towards individuals, and corrupts them starting at a very early age during their childhood by attacking their right to life, which causes them to develop extreme and anti-social behavior. The truth is that this anti-social system that we live in, due to its inherent nature, can only produce people who are more or less psychopaths. Consequently, as long as this system is in place only the worst of the psychopaths in society will be in control of it. 3 Given enough time, it will always deteriorate until it finally collapses, as history has repeatedly shown.

The truth is that the State is a conspiracy designed not only to exploit, but above all to corrupt its citizens… Henceforth, I shall never serve any government anywhere.

Economy: Inequity By Design

The economic system is also based on inequality; here you have capitalism, where groups of people must necessarily lose for others to be able to thrive. This encourages people to compete with one another and to develop predatory behavior. Workers are often treated as slaves in this system, which in fact they are. A group of powerful bankers admitted as much back in 1862 when they were considering abolishing abject slavery. They proposed introducing a new kind of slavery — the kind we have right now — where the slaves would be controlled via their wages. Here is what a banker wrote to his colleagues in 1862 in what is known as the Hazzard Circular (PDF):

Slavery is likely to be abolished by the war power and chattel slavery destroyed. This, I and my European friends are in favor of, for slavery is but the owning of labor, and carries with it the care for the laborer;  while the European plan, led on by England, is capital control of labor, by controlling wages. THIS CAN BE DONE BY CONTROLLING THE MONEY. The great debt that capitalists will see to it is made out of the war, must be used as a measure to control the volume of money.

This almost makes Qaddafi — who was no doubt a very enlightened human being — sound like a prophet.

Wage-earners are but slaves to the masters who hire them. They are temporary slaves, and their slavery lasts as long as they work for wages from employers, be they individuals or the state.

As the bankers themselves admit, the whole monetary system is based on inequality; the notion that a small elite have the exclusive authority to create money out of thin air and then loan it out at interest (usury), thereby creating debt-slaves out of people, allowing for the rampant and large scale looting of their productivity. The forceful confiscation of people’s wealth via “taxation” — which is really legalized extortion and robbery — is also part of this scheme to enslave the population. You’re led to believe that taxation is necessary to pay for a civilized society, but in actual fact it turns out that taxation is necessary for the enslavement of society. 4

Perhaps the biggest example of this is the fact that, […] the “government” not only “legalized” slavery via the “income tax,” directly and forcibly confiscating the fruits of people’s labor, but also, […] legalized a level of counterfeiting and bank fraud which boggles the mind. In short, the politicians gave bankers “legal” permission to make up money out of thin air, and to loan such fake, fabricated “money” out, at interest, to others, including “governments.” Though most people are unaware of the specifics of how such huge frauds and robberies occur via “fiat currencies” and “fractional reserve banking,” many people now have a gut instinct that “the banks” are doing something deceptive and corrupt. What they fail to realize is that it was “government” which gave the banks permission to defraud and swindle the public out of literally trillions of dollars.

The central banks create money out of thin air; they give it to the government to bail out the banks, and we, the people, have to work longer and harder to pay them back — not with ‘thin air’ but with our sweat and blood. This is the immaculate deception of humanity. We are the slaves that keep the bankers in power. The banking industry is the biggest organized crime syndicate that has ever been exposed. But somehow they have managed to make themselves appear to be legitimate and their activities legalized and accepted by the very people they are extorting from.

And yet people still wonder where all the economic inequality that we have around the world right now comes from. As shown above, the answer lies at the heart of the economic system itself which is based on inequality and enables the forceful transfer of wealth from the population to the small elite who are in control. In other words, it enables the enslavement of the population by the small elite.

Watch the below video titled “The Biggest Scam In The History Of Mankind”; it does a good job of explaining the money scam put in place by the bankers under the authority of governments, and shows the purpose of income taxation in this system of enslavement.

Education: Imprisoning Your Mind

Professor Michio Kaku often likes to mention that we’re all born scientists. From the moment we’re born we’re filled with curiosity and we want to explore the world and learn. But like Kaku also mentions, society gradually crushes every bit of curiosity out of us as we grow up. The “education” system that exists in society right now wasn’t designed to stimulate your creativity and curiosity nor was it designed to teach you how to independently and critically think for yourself. On the contrary, it was specifically designed to make you passive and docile, and to teach you blind obedience to authority. Like astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson once remarked: “We spend the first year of a child’s life teaching it to walk and talk and the rest of its life to shut up and sit down. There’s something wrong there.”

The purported purpose of schools is to teach reading, writing, mathematics, and other academic fields of thought. But the message that institutions of “education” actually teach, far more effectively than any useful knowledge or skills, is the idea that subservience and blind obedience to “authority” are virtues.

The “grades” the student receives, the way he is treated, the signals he is sent — written, verbal, and otherwise — all depend upon one factor: his ability and willingness to unquestioningly subvert his own desires, judgment and decisions to those of “authority.” If he does that, he is deemed “good.” If he does not, he is deemed “bad.” This method of indoctrination was not accidental. Schooling in the United States, and in fact in much of the world, was deliberately modeled after the Prussian system of “education,” which was designed with the express purpose of training people to be obedient tools of the ruling class, easy to manage and quick to unthinkingly obey, especially for military purposes. As it was explained by Johann Fichte, one of the designers of the Prussian system, the goal of this method was to “fashion” the student in such a way that he “simply cannot will otherwise” than what those in “authority” want him to will. 5 At the time, the system was openly admitted to be a means of psychologically enslaving the general populace to the will of the ruling class. And it continues to accomplish exactly that, all over the world, including in the United States.

Not only did this “education” system prepare you for your enslavement, but in fact you were brainwashed during most of your youth to actually desire your own enslavement, thinking that it’s the best way to live your life. You were robbed of your naturally free, independent and creative spirit, and coerced into developing a submissive and dependent character structure. People who are dependent can easily be controlled and governments, of course, would have it no other way.

Education, or learning, is not necessarily that routinized curriculum and those classified subjects in textbooks which youths are forced to learn during specified hours while sitting in rows of desks. This type of education now prevailing all over the world is directed against human freedom. It is a compulsory obliteration of a human being’s talent, as well as a coercive directing of a human being’s choices. It is an act of dictatorship destructive of freedom because it deprives people of their free choice, creativity and brilliance. To force a human being to learn according to a set curriculum is a dictatorial act. To impose certain subjects upon people is also a dictatorial act.

State-controlled and standardized education is, in fact, a forced stultification of the masses. All governments which set courses of education in terms of formal curricula and force people to learn those courses coerce their citizens. All methods of education prevailing in the world should be destroyed through a universal cultural revolution that frees the human mind from curricula of fanaticism which dictate a process of deliberate distortion of man’s tastes, conceptual ability and mentality.

Apart from being robbed of your creativity and brilliance via “education,” you are constantly kept in a survival mindset in an environment of artificial scarcity, created by an economic system based on inequality. If you’re kept struggling to survive every day, barely being able to provide for yourself, then you won’t have time to develop yourself intellectually and spiritually, and consequently will be powerless to rebel against the system that enslaves you. It’s actually proven that keeping people poor and in a constant survival mindset has a severely negative impact on their intelligence. 6 Indeed if you take a look around you in society, you’ll find that most people remain so intellectually poor that they don’t even realize that they are slaves, let alone being able to think about getting rid of the system responsible for their enslavement.

I have found that, to make a contented slave, it is necessary to make a thoughtless one. It is necessary to darken his moral and mental vision, and, as far as possible, to annihilate the power of reason. He must be able to detect no inconsistencies in slavery; he must be made to feel that slavery is right; and he can be brought to that only when he ceases to be a man.

This is the tragedy of the reality in which we live today, where people are being conditioned throughout most of their lives not only to accept, but to actually desire their own enslavement. It’s a reality where people willingly accept a way of life that works against them on almost all levels, and that allows a small elite to easily control and exploit them. 7

A Way Out: Start By Not Voting

If you realize what the purpose is of the anti-social system that we live in, you’ll do everything you can to stop participating in it. At the very least you’ll stop voting, because voting means giving your consent to this anti-social system being imposed on you and everyone else. It means giving your consent to injustice being committed on a grand scale, for example by legalized theft and extortion (known as “taxation”), legalized murder through warfare, and destructive interference in people’s lives. It means giving your consent to your own enslavement and that of everyone else. Even if you do agree with the system, voting means forcing this anti-social system on others who don’t want to take part in it. And that makes you part of a criminal enterprise whether you realize it or not.

Understand then all of you, especially the young, that to want to impose an imaginary state of government on others by violence is not only a vulgar superstition, but even a criminal work. Understand that this work, far from assuring the well-being of humanity is only a lie, a more or less unconscious hypocrisy, camouflaging the lowest passions we possess.

Leo Tolstoy

You have to start letting go of the brainwash that was used to deceive you into becoming an obedient slave. You have to start critically thinking for yourself and scrutinize every bit of knowledge that you possess and all information that is fed to you, especially if it comes from governments and politicians. Realize that even the mainstream media cannot be trusted anymore; they’re bought and owned by the same elite who are behind this system of enslavement.

Politicians in the past hundreds of years have demonstrated that they are incapable of solving the many problems we’re dealing with in society. Not only are they often intellectually incapable of coming up with solutions, but the system itself is fundamentally flawed making it impossible for any solution to be developed and implemented from within.

Government enact many different laws in an attempt to control society. However, we find no evidence of a deliberate plan by any government to design a sustainable and workable social system to improve the lives of everyone rather than the few holding high positions in the established order. Many people assume that government leaders bring about change with a concern for the well-being of the citizenry, but nothing could be further from the truth. Established government systems seek to preserve and uphold their own interests and power-base. Politicians use every means of deception to consolidate their positions […] They talk around every issue without saying anything of substance […] They enact new laws to control behaviour and if these don’t work, they resort to force, boycotts, and blockades. But none of the methods ever addresses the root cause.

Like Albert Einstein said, “we cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” We have to get rid of the current system of enslavement entirely if we want to solve the problems it creates for us for the long term. Trying to achieve equality and fairness in a system that was fundamentally designed around inequality is a futile undertaking.

The natural or universal laws, granting equal rights to every individual, have been replaced by constitutions in order to enslave us. The time has come to reclaim our natural rights and to remember who we really are. 8

One who has been deprogrammed looks out at the world, and instead of seeing hierarchies of different ruling classes within different jurisdictions, sees a world of equals-not in talent, ability, or wealth, of course, but in rights. He sees a world in which each person owns himself, and he comes to the realization that he has no rightful master, that there is no one above him, and that that is true of everyone else, as well. He is beholden to no “government,” no “country,” and no “law.” He is a sovereign entity. He is bound by his own conscience, and nothing else.

There are alternative ways of living together that are not based on authority and coercion, but on voluntary participation, where the right to life of each and every individual is respected. This is an approach based on true love, because truly loving a human being means respecting their right to life.

The world is moving towards peer to peer (P2P) systems that are fundamentally based on equality and voluntary participation and where there’s no (central point of) authority. Indeed it is the belief in authority that got us into the mess we’re in now; it has become like a religion to many people in society. 9

The belief in “authority,” which includes all belief in “government,” is irrational and self-contradictory; it is contrary to civilization and morality, and constitutes the most dangerous, destructive superstition that has ever existed. Rather than being a force for order and justice, the belief in “authority” is the arch-enemy of humanity. Nothing else comes close to the level of destruction — mental, emotional and physical — that has occurred throughout the world, and throughout recorded history, as a result of the belief in “authority.”

The belief in “authority” is so strong that it can convince otherwise rational people that the very thing which routinely robs, coerces and assaults them is needed to protect them from robbery, coercion and assault.

If no one believed in a legitimate ruling class, no one would fight over who should rule. If there was no throne, no one would fight over it. All civil wars, and nearly all revolutions, rest on the assumption that someone should be in charge. Without the superstition of “authority,” there would be no reason for such things to happen at all.

An example of a new system that can replace the current system of enslavement is the Venus Project, designed by social engineer and futurist Jacque Fresco. For more on the Venus Project, watch the below documentary titled “The Choice is Ours,” and read the book “The Best That Money Can’t Buy”.

In a hundred years, historians may look back on our present civilization as a transition period from the dark ages of ignorance, superstition, and social insufficiency just as we view the world of a few hundred years ago. We are products of a culture of deficiency which expects each confrontation and most activities to end with a winner and a loser. We can no longer afford the luxury of such primitive thinking.

Footnotes

  1. 1^Most countries in the world today are corporations and the citizens are their assets that are traded on global markets. By applying for a birth certificate when you were born, your parents unwittingly changed your status from “free human” to that of “citizen” and you became property of the state. Michael Tellinger has all the details about this in his book “Ubuntu,” which I highly recommend reading. As Larken Rose states in his book “The Most Dangerous Superstition”:

Every “country” is a huge slave plantation, and everything and everyone there is the property of the politicians. The believers in “government” never explain how it is that a few politicians could have acquired the right to unilaterally claim exclusive ownership of thousands of square miles of land, where other people were already living, as their territory, to rule and exploit as they see fit. It would be no different from a lunatic saying, “I hereby declare North America to be my rightful domain, so anyone living here has to do whatever I say, if you don’t like it, you can leave.”

  2. 2^Humans are intrinsically good. Like any other organism however, humans start to develop extreme behavior when they are placed inside a hostile environment — especially one that is hostile towards them from the moment they are born and for most of their lives. I discuss this in details in my post on human nature.
  3. 3^As Larken Rose writes in his book “The Most Dangerous Superstition”:

Bizarrely, almost every statist admits that politicians are more dishonest, corrupt, conniving and selfish than most people, but still insists that civilization can exist only if those particularly untrustworthy people are given both the power and the right to forcibly control everyone else. Believers in “government” truly believe that the only thing that can keep them safe from the flaws of human nature is taking some of those flawed humans — some of the most flawed, in fact — and appointing them as gods, with the right to dominate all of mankind, in the absurd hope that, if given such tremendous power, such people will use it only for good. And the fact that that has never happened in the history of the world does not stop statists from insisting that it “needs” to happen to ensure peaceful civilization.

If human beings are so careless, stupid and malicious that they cannot be trusted to do the right thing on their own, how would the situation be improved by taking a subset of those very same careless, stupid and malicious human beings and giving them societal permission to forcibly control all the others? Why would anyone think that rearranging and reorganizing a group of dangerous beasts would make them civilized?

  4. 4^All forms of taxation are basically legalized theft and extortion, as the below video illustrates.

In my post “Income Taxation is Slavery” I go into much more details on how we are enslaved via the income tax. Click here to read it.

  5. 5^For more on the Prussian system of “education” watch the below video.

  6. 6^For the details on how poverty and living in a constant state of survival result in reduced mental capacity read my post “Why Poor People Make Bad Decisions.”
  7. 7^As Larken Rose writes in his book “The Most Dangerous Superstition”:

If a slave can be convinced that he should be a slave, that his enslavement is both proper and legitimate, that he is the rightful property of his master and that he has an obligation to produce as much as possible for his master, then he does not need to be physically oppressed. In other words, enslaving the mind makes enslaving the body unnecessary. And that is exactly what the belief in “authority” does: it teaches people that it is morally virtuous that they surrender their time, effort and property, as well as their freedom and control over their own lives, to a ruling class.

Frederick Douglass, a former slave, witnessed and described that exact phenomenon among his fellow slaves, many of whom were proud of how hard they worked for their masters and how faithfully they did as they were told. From their perspective, a runaway slave was a shameful thief, having “stolen” himself from the master. Douglass described how thoroughly indoctrinated many slaves were, to the point where they truly believed that their own enslavement was just and righteous: “I have found that, to make a contented slave, it is necessary to make a thoughtless one. It is necessary to darken his moral and mental vision, and, as far as possible, to annihilate the power of reason. He must be able to detect no inconsistencies in slavery; he must be made to feel that slavery is right; and he can be brought to that only when he ceases to be a man.”

  8. 8^As Muammar al-Qaddafi writes in his book “The Green Book”:

The laws of the dictatorial instruments of government have replaced the natural laws, i.e., positive law has replaced natural law. Consequently, ethical standards have become confused. The human being is essentially, physically and emotionally, the same everywhere. Because of this fact, natural laws are applicable to all. However, constitutions as conventional laws do not perceive human beings equally. This view has no justification, except for the fact that it reflects the will of the instrument of government, be it an individual, an assembly, a class or a party. The abrogation of natural laws from human societies and their replacement by conventional laws is the fundamental danger that threatens freedom. Any ruling system must be made subservient to natural laws, not the reverse.

I highly recommend watching the below TEDx talk by Rumi Knoppel titled “What are my universal rights under Government?” You can also read a transcript of this talk by clicking here.

The below 3-part presentation by Mark Passio on natural law is also highly recommended. It’s a long presentation, but it’s packed with tons of very good information.

  9. 9^As Larken Rose beautifully explains in his book “The Most Dangerous Superstition”:

The main factor distinguishing the belief in “government” from other religions today is that people actually believe in the god called “government.” The other gods people claim to believe in, and the churches they attend, are now, by comparison, little more than empty rituals and half-heartedly parroted superstitions. When it comes to their everyday lives, the god that people actually pray to, to save them from misfortune, to smite their enemies, and to shower them with blessings, is “government.” It is “government” whose commandments the people most often respect and obey. Whenever a conflict arises between “government” and the teachings of the lesser gods — such as “pay your fair share” (taxation) versus “Thou shalt not steal,” or “duty to country” (military service) versus “Thou shalt not murder”– the commands of “government” supersede all the teachings of the other religions. Politicians, the high priests of the church of “government”– the mouthpieces and representatives of “government,” who deliver the sacred “law” from on high — even openly declare that it is permissible for the people to practice whatever religion they wish, as long as they do not run afoul of the supreme religion by disobeying “the law”– meaning the dictates of the god called “government.”
