Be aware that there are other proposals for “electronic money” which are not nearly so protective of individuals’ privacy. Chaum’s proposals are intended to preserve the privacy attributes of cash, so the term “digital cash” is appropriate. But other electronic replacements for cash not only lack its privacy, but would actually facilitate computer monitoring by putting more detailed information into databases, and by discouraging the use of cash. If you see a proposal for an electronic money system, check to see whether it has the ability to preserve the privacy of financial transactions the way paper money does today. If not, realize that the proposal is designed to harm, not help, individual privacy. Hal Finney (Protecting Privacy with Electronic Cash, 1993)
Financial Censorship by Banks; Why we need Cryptocurrencies
A recent article by NRC shows how banks are engaging in financial censorship. The article is in Dutch but I’ve translated some of it to English below. Here’s from “De complotdenker bankiert maar elders, zegt de bank” (August 17th 2021): Banks and payment services regularly block accounts of organizations they consider to be spreading fake news about corona and vaccinations. The hypocrisy of Mark Fuckerberg
Mark Fuckerberg is one of the most disgusting people living today. A true hypocrite. Here’s from “Tech Monopolies Are the Reason the US Now Has a TikTok Problem” (August 7th 2020): If you’re amused by the irony of Big Tech protecting us from an app that could be used for election meddling, given Facebook’s role in the 2016 election, the irony doesn’t stop there. GitHub shadow bans user and blocks access to repos
A software developer from Russia found out recently that his account on GitHub had been shadow banned. He was the only one still able to see his account and access his repositories; all other users got a 404 message in their web browsers. In an article titled “How GitHub blocked me (and all my libraries)” (March 11th 2020), ironically published on Medium, he details his experience with GitHub. Read more ⟶
Licensing photos through 500px became a rip-off
Today I removed all my photos from licensing at 500px. It has frankly become a scam that’s ripping off photographers worldwide. There used to be a time when 500px was all about doing what’s best for photographers, but ever since they sold out to a Chinese company called Visual China Group (VCG) and started sublicensing through Getty Images, licensing through 500px has become a major rip-off for photographers. China’s New Cybersecurity Program: NO Place to Hide
If you were still in doubt about the level of detail in which the criminal Chinese government is trying to implement George Orwell’s ‘1984’ then perhaps this article might be of some help. Here’s from “China’s New Cybersecurity Program: NO Place to Hide” (September 30th 2019): The Chinese government has been working for several years on a comprehensive Internet security/surveillance program. The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is the one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. John Kenneth Galbraith
The Spanish Prisoner
I mentioned before in my post “On money, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general” that the financial elite will try their best to co-opt Bitcoin (and true cryptocurrencies in general) because it poses a serious threat to their global monetary system of enslavement. It seems Facebook’s recently announced “cryptocurrency” called Libra is their latest attempt. Read more ⟶
Banks are being used for social engineering by the Financial Elite
A month ago Starnieuws published a very interesting and revealing article showing how banks are being used by the financial elite to implement their agenda globally. This is information that complements my previous post on the topic titled “The Financial Elite are behind Deplatforming and Censorship on the Internet”. Read more ⟶
Banned from PayPal; Another Warning
Weeks ago I blogged about the fact that you should “NOT trust Patreon, PayPal, Stripe and Slack.” If that warning wasn’t enough, a few days ago I came across the following post on Niteo’s blog: You’d think that being a legitimate online business, having 12 years of history with PayPal, and hundreds of thousands of dollars processed, you’d gain some credibility with them. Not so. Read more ⟶
There is no such a thing in America as an independent press, […]. You are all slaves. You know it, and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to express an honest opinion. If you expressed it, you would know beforehand that it would never appear in print. […] If I should allow honest opinions to be printed in one issue of my paper, I would be like Othello before twenty-four hours: my occupation would be gone. […] The business of a New York journalist is to distort the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon […]. You know this, and I know it; and what foolery to be toasting an “Independent Press”! We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. […] They pull the string and we dance. Our time, our talents, our lives, our possibilities, are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes. John Swinton, journalist for The New York Times, 1880
The Financial Elite are behind Deplatforming and Censorship on the Internet
When Alex Jones got deplatformed a few months ago, I mentioned that it was the result of a coordinated effort happening behind the scenes to censor certain people. If you were still in doubt about who exactly is behind this latest trend of deplatforming, demonetization and censorship on the Internet, then the following bit of information will remove all doubt for you. Persuasion, Influencing and Selling are Mind Manipulation
Mind manipulation is deeply ingrained in our societies around the world as a result of thousands of years of deliberate effort and policy. It’s one of the essential ingredients in the current anti-social system of enslavement that we live in, where children are being exposed to mind manipulation (‘education’) starting at a very early age. Delivering Photos to Clients on Custom USB Flash Drives
Earlier this year I started to think about alternative options for delivering photos to my clients. As a photographer I also shoot photos of various types of events (including corporate events, birthdays and weddings) and in the past I’ve used CDs and DVDs in custom designed albums and cases to deliver the final photos to my clients. But as I’m sure you’ve noticed, CDs and DVDs are getting old very fast now. Read more ⟶
Be a Responsible Client
People are always on the lookout for bargains. Everyone wants to spend as little money as possible while getting as much as possible in return. After all, the more money you save, the more you can do with the same budget. There’s nothing wrong with this at first glance. However, in practice things often get out of hand when people start to get motivated by greed and when there’s a lack of trust. Read more ⟶

Nick Hanauer: You’re missing the point on inequality
Billionaire Nick Hanauer published an article recently on Politico warning his fellow “filthy rich Americans” that “the pitchforks are coming.” In his article, Hanauer discussed the inequality in America that’s getting worse every day: At the same time that people like you and me are thriving beyond the dreams of any plutocrats in history, the rest of the country—the 99.99 percent—is lagging far behind.
