Commercial for EMSS N.V. Suriname

I recently made a commercial for Energy Management & Saving Solutions (EMSS) N.V. Suriname to promote their services. It’s really more of a balance between a commercial and infomercial. The final result can be seen on YouTube (embedded below) or on Archive.org in better quality (larger). Since the video is heavily compressed by YouTube, I’ve also included a few stills in the gallery below where a lot of the detail can still be seen. You can also download the high quality MP4 file from Archive.org (330MB).

The theme for the graphics used in the commercial was “energy and digital.” This is the first time I ever used Blender for the 3D graphics; I’ve always used 3D Studio Max in the past, but I wanted to see how far I could go using a free and open-source program. There was a learning curve and some getting used to the new interface and functionality of Blender, but I can’t say that I missed 3D Studio Max in this case.
