Free public domain audio books
I just found out about LibriVox a few days ago, a website featuring a collection of free public domain audio books which you can download and listen to. The first book I listened to was “The Prophet” by Khalil Gibran. It was very good. And right now I’m in the middle of “Two Treatises of Civil Government” by John Locke, which I can also highly recommend.
I have 2 other books by John Locke queued up and ready on my phone. If you’re someone that has to commute often, you might want to check out the website to see what you can download to listen to while you travel. In my case, since I am already watching a screen and reading a lot during the day while programming, I found that I can give my eyes some rest while still being able to “read” books at night.
