Adobe deactivates all Venezuelan accounts
Here’s another example of why relying on ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) and ‘Cloud Computing’ in general is very dangerous. Adobe is cancelling subscriptions of customers in Venezuela due to the recent ‘executive order’ by the criminal US government:
The U.S. Government’s recent Executive Order regarding Venezuela prohibits almost all transactions and services between U.S. companies and entities and individuals in Venezuela. In order to remain complaint, Adobe will be deactivating all accounts in Venezuela, with the exception of Behance, on October 29, 2019. Customers who purchased directly from Adobe will be refunded by the end of the month for any paid, but unused services. We are working with our partners on the same. We regret the difficulties this causes our customers. We will share more details about how our operations and customer activities might be impacted, as they become available.

You have until October 28, 2019 to download any content that you have stored in your Adobe account. After this date your account will be deactivated.
Ouch.
I don’t want to say that “I told you so,” but yeah, I kinda did 3 months ago:
Even if you’re using software like Microsoft Office360 and applications from Adobe which are sold based on a monthly/yearly subscription via the Internet, you might want to think about the risks that you’re taking. These companies can decide to block you from using their software and there will be little you can do about it. You might wake up one day to find that you’ve lost all access to your important data and your money.

The financial elite appear to be increasing the pressure on Venezuela in order to install their puppet government who will be more willing to give away the country’s resources and allow exploitation of the local slave population.
