Stain problem not only on MacBooks
Apple responded recently to claims about the MacBook getting discolored after a few weeks of use. You can see a picture of what that looks like here. This seems to be a problem with the type of paint that is used on devices these days. I’ve had this problem with both Alienware laptops I owned. nVidia and ATI: Listen up!
You’ve probably already read that nVidia is going to launch quad SLI at E3. Reading that, I just wonder what the fascination is with SLI. I can’t help but wonder if the guys over at nVidia ran into some kind of innovation barrier, that they can’t seem to make videocards faster anymore based on a single chip and have to resort to having people install 4 videocards in their computer in the future to get the performance they need. I came across this article on BBC, which mentions that UK officials are talking to Microsoft about the new security measures in Windows Vista, specifically encryption of the filesystem, and expressing their concern that it would make it harder for them to gain access to a suspects’ computer. AMD’s Hector Ruiz is going at it completely wrong
AMD has recently filed a complaint against Intel because Intel is abusing its monopoly position in the chip market. AMD’s CEO, Hector Ruiz, posted an open letter on the AMD website, explaining why AMD was forced to take action against Intel.
