When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower. Alexander den Heijer
It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that. G.H. Hardy
I don’t like ass kissers, flag wavers or team players. I like people who buck the system. Individualists. I often warn people that somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you: “There’s no I in team.” What you should tell them is: “Maybe not. But there is an I in independence, individuality and integrity.” George Carlin
Die Gefährlichste Aller Religionen
The German translation of Larken Rose’s excellent and must read book “The Most Dangerous Superstition” is now available on Amazon as paperback and ebook. Originally written in English, the book has also previously been translated into Dutch. The book goes into many details about the system of enslavement that we currently live in and the thinking and psychology that enables it to continue. Read more ⟶
Work on the new design for my blog is progressing nicely. I think I have the major work done; now it’s mostly about fine tuning, testing in different browsers and devices, and making sure all the many years of old content looks decent in the new design. As things stand now, I’ll probably be putting the new design live during next week when most people are busy celebrating and pretending to be happy and traffic will be low. I’ll then be doing most of the fine tuning on the live blog; so if you see weird stuff happening you know I’m working on it.
I’m finally working on a new design for my blog like I intended on doing more than a year ago. I was too focused on working on QuantumGate, but I’m currently taking a short break from that to work on my blog. I’m planning to launch the new design before the end of the year so I can get back to working on QuantumGate. Also, when the new blog design goes live I intend to cut back on social media and publish more often on my blog instead. So you if you want to stay in touch, subscribe to my blog’s RSS feed or sign up for email updates by using the form on the homepage.
We should all be Part-Time Lovers
On the morning of April 22nd 2018 I woke up with the melody from the song ‘Part-Time Lover’ by Stevie Wonder constantly looping in my mind for no immediately apparent reason. Literally, I opened my eyes and this melody was playing in my mind. Read more ⟶
No Mark Zuckerberg, I don’t need your help
On the morning of March 26th 2018 I got behind my PC with my usual cup of coffee and decided to check my notifications on Facebook. I clicked to open two of them, both in a separate window, and in both windows was presented with a page asking me if I was going through a difficult time, and if I needed help. You can see a screenshot of the page in the above image. This is the first time I ever saw this on Facebook. Read more ⟶

Pay attention!
About two weeks ago I was watching a TEDx presentation by Jordan Peterson titled “Potential.” As I was lying in bed watching on my phone late at night, I suddenly got an incoming call that interrupted the video. It was from my dad. The incoming call notification came on for just a brief moment though — just enough to see that it was a call from my dad — then it went away and the video continued playing. On money, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general
If you’ve been paying attention to what’s going on in the world these days you’ve no doubt noticed the sharp rise in the popularity and adoption of cryptocurrencies and in particular Bitcoin. Read more ⟶
Read more ⟶
In an interview by David Icke a few years ago Credo Mutwa shared some very interesting ancient African knowledge that got passed on to him. Among other things, he tells the story about how men and women were divided, conquered and enslaved many thousands of years ago by technologically advanced extraterrestrial beings. Read more ⟶
Messages from the Universe – Part 3
Continuing where I left off in the previous post in this series, in the months following that post, I experienced what I can only describe as an onslaught of the numbers 3, 6 and 9 in various combinations of 3 digits. It seemed as though the timing in so many events in my life were synchronized according to those numbers. Every time something significant happened I’d look at my phone and the time would be a combination of 3, 6 and 9 (e.g. Read more ⟶
Messages from the Universe – Part 2
Not long ago I had published a post here on my blog where I discussed some examples of “coincidences” happening in my life. In this post I want to share another very interesting case concerning the above picture. Ever since the recent price increases I’ve been closely monitoring the power consumption at my house; from time to time I check the electricity meter to record the date and amount. Read more ⟶
Convincing C programmers to switch to C++; A look at human thinking behavior
A few days ago I watched a CppCon 2016 presentation by Dan Saks titled “extern c: Talking to C Programmers about C++” and was pleasantly surprised by the information and insights he shared. I wouldn’t have expected this kind of information to be shared at a C++ conference, let alone a talk about C and C++. Read more ⟶
How not to raise your children
Is the prevailing reward and punishment style of raising children beneficial for them and for society in the long term? In a recent article by Larken Rose titled “Raising Human Livestock” he writes the following: If you happen to command your children to behave properly, after having used reward and punishment to train them to obey you, you still didn’t teach them to be good; you taught them to be obedient. Messages from the Universe
I promised in previous blog posts that I would write more about the “strange coincidences” that happen in my life. I’ve already written about some of them, and you can find them here on my blog tagged under “coincidences.” In this post I’m going to write about a number of them that have to do with numerology. How the Lack of Sex degrades your Intelligence
A lack of regular, good and fulfilling sex in your life can have a serious negative impact on your intelligence, especially in the long term. The more chronic this lack of sex becomes, the more serious the psychological (mental, emotional, intellectual) problems become. Read more ⟶
The Presidential Portrait; Looking Back
Back in August 2010 I shot the official portrait for the president of Suriname. You can read all about it in a previous blog post titled “Photoshoot: President D. D. Bouterse of Suriname”. I used to be proud of this, but not so much anymore. To be sure, it’s usually an honor for any photographer to be chosen to shoot the official portrait of the president of a country. Read more ⟶
