I’ve recently had the opportunity to photograph the buildings and offices of Beauty & Home Systems Inc. (BHS). BHS is the distributor of As Seen on TV products and the consultant of AVON products in Suriname. They currently have a number of outlets in Suriname and an office in Guyana. However the pictures I’ve included below are all taken at their main office in Suriname. The buildings and the offices were all decorated for Christmas.

Man, I feel for you. The angles are great, the color is… not so great. Either Nikon or Olympus would make short work of that whitebalance and colour rendering, nighttime and/or fluorescent lights; if you’re using CS4 for fixing it, try to (religiously) use the camera profile.

Barbu: Thanks for the feedback, I’ve adjusted the WB for some of the pictures. I’ve heard about the WB being better on Nikon, but I’m not so sure if this is a Canon problem.

I feel like I’ve only skimmed on this last time: really, congrats for some *very* fine photography! I’ve admired your way of telling your POV about the equipment, unlike any other. Now I get to see your actual skill in the photo craft, and I’m impressed again.
And about the colour… Don’t sweat it; looks like the Canon rendering (WB being only part of that) is preffered in the architectural business.
